Designed a 24/7 cloud-native linear television broadcast system from scratch. This project demonstrates the intersection of traditional broadcast engineering and modern web delivery. It utilizes a Python orchestrator to dynamically manipulate HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) manifests.
The playout engine calculates time-deltas to generate sliding-window playlists, enabling infinite circular buffering of VOD assets. It handles stream routing, buffer management, and discontinuity transitions.

I have always had a passion for technology and it has lead me to explore many different areas of tech. I have experience with programming, networking, linux, and video engineering. I currently have my CCNA certification with plans to pursue the AWS-SAA and CKAD afterwards. After discovering media engineering, I have never found anything else in tech that remotely interests me as much. It blends my love for tech and my favorite pastime, watching TV! I am currently obsessing over Go and trying to create a new project that combines AWS with Go to create a distributed HLS/DASH manifest delivery system.
On a personal note, some things I enjoy are anime, sitcoms, video games, and obviously tech. I've recently joined a book club as I've wanted to get more into reading. I'm a big dog lover, but an even bigger cat admirer. Spring is my favorite season and my favorite bands are The Strokes, Radiohead, Title Fight, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I like trying out different cafes on Sundays and going on walks when the weather is nice. I'm currently watching One Piece and reading The Passion According to G.H
